Telemetry

In June, was implemented in U&M  remote monitoring in two trucks. The satellite telemetry works by sending fault codes for equipment and also alerts, eg high engine temperature, excessive speed, high displacement bucket, etc.
This monitoring will be accompanied by U&M and Sotreq in CMC (Centre for Monitoring of Conditions) where the equipment will be analyzed and, if necessary, submit recommendations for action (Back log).
The benefits of this monitoring are many, as reduce maintenance costs and improve availability.
This system is called Product Link and was developed by Caterpillar.
